I love black and white portraits; they're so classy. I often find them a lot more personal than colour portraits because I spend more time focusing on the person's features and the way light and shadow play on their face than I would in a colour photograph. I especially enjoy high-contrast black and white photos because they can have such depth to them.
I had a craving to do a portrait session late last summer and my amazing friend Kaitlin kindly agreed to be my model.
